Juan Antonio Cerón

José Antonio Cerón holds a Ph.D in medicine with a specialty in clinical biochemistry, a Master’s in laboratory management and three-year degrees in clinical genetics and systems and operations research.

He has held positions of responsibility in laboratory organisation and management projects at the Hospital Arnau de Vilanova in Valencia and the General Hospital Consortium. He designed, launched and directed the laboratories of Hospital de la Ribera in Alzira. Cerón has participated as a consultant for Mestesa in numerous laboratory organisation projects at the Hospital Clínico of Malaga, Hospital General Yagüe in Burgos and Hospital Universitario Central in Asturias, among others. He is currently an associate physician in the Genetics Department at Hospital Universitario and Politécnico La Fe in Valencia.
